Anniversary parade chance for China to show military capability to world: Expert

China was preparing to mark its 70th anniversary on Oct 1. The centrepiece was a grand military parade with proceedings to last most of the day. It was widely seen as a chance for Beijing to showcase its military might to the world. Dr Lim Tai Wei, associate professor at the Singapore University of Social Science, and Mr Adam Ni, researcher at Macquarie University, discussed more with CNA.
